Making a Request for Credit
To make a request for credit, log in with your user name and password, and then select Return for Credit from the Buy menu.
The first screen lets you search for the transaction(s) for which you want to request credit.

To view all the Requests for Credit that you have open, click the View All RFCs link. The Request for Credit list screen opens. You can search for specific RFCs at this screen.
To make a new Request for Credit, follow these steps:
- Enter either the Transaction ID number in the top field or the Purchase Order Number in the bottom field.
- Click the Submit button. All the transactions that match the Trans ID or the PO number are shown.

- Click the Transaction ID to request credit. The Request for Credit window opens.

- Enter the quantity for which you are asking credit in the Request for Credit Qty field.
- Select a Reason for Request from the drop-down list.
- Add any additional information, as needed.
- Click the Submit Requested button. The Request for Credit list window opens.

Requests for Credit that you submit become visible to the Seller at the Return Material Authorizations screen. Any RFCs that are not approved are autocanceled in 7 calendar days.
Searching for a Specific Request for Credit
To find a specific line item on the Request For Credit screen, you can search for information with the Find function located at the top of the screen or you can sort by column.
- To search for a particular line item, enter the word(s) or number(s) you wish to find and select the column from the drop-down list; then click the "go" button.

The window refreshes and displays only the results of your search. To view all your RFCs again, click the line about Requests for Credit in the Message Center.
- To sort by column, click the column heading. For example, the Trans ID column can be sorted in ascending or descending order.
